I feel foolish for ever making the purchase but would like to help others avoid making the same mistake. This was a classic situation of a used car salesman taking advantage of an out of state buyer. My guess is he pays people to leave positive (and inaccurate) reviews of his business all of the time. He then failed to follow through with his offer. Everything he told me was a lie and he was not willing to make it right (I don’t even think Paul is his real name).Īfter I left the review above, Paul proceeded to contact me so that he could offer me money “to help cover the cost of the repairs” in exchange for a more positive review of his business. I would never purchased a car from there and I would not trust a word Paul says. When I called Paul to talk about these issues, he blamed them on me and refused to discuss a refund. I took it to a shop and was told that the car needed new brakes, rotors, calibers, brake hoses, CV axil, and the frame was completely rusted out. The brakes were locked up and it was vibrating badly when drove. When it arrived, the delivery driver informed me that the car did not drive properly. He even sent me pictures of underneath the car, which I now know, these were not pictures from the car I purchased but from a different vehicle. Paul assured me that the vehicle was in good condition, that it had a solid frame, ran smooth, and that there was minimal rust underneath the vehicle. I purchased a 2005 Toyota Four Runner from Paul.
