Ron enjoyed helping others, making friends, and spending time with his family. Ron and Carolyn spent many winters at their home in Bradenton, FL, and always returned to their place on Long Lake for the summer. He also was a member of the Kalamazoo Antique Car Club. His favorite car was the Mustang and he restored several in his day. Ron is also survived by his three children, Terry (Sherry) Overloop, Sheryl (Jack) Manard, Larry (Nettie) Overloop nine grandchildren, Eric (Emily) Overloop, Adam (Tammy) Overloop, Blake Manard, Ashley (Andrew) Pratt, Dereck Johnson, Alec Manard, Tara Manard, Daniel Richel, and Michelle Manard seven great-grandchildren, Dakota, Tyler, Grace, Dylan, Lilli, Spencer, and Selma a sister, Joyce Doorlag. On May 29, 1953, he married the love of his life Carolyn (Polderdyke) Overloop who survives.
